There are two basic ways to obtain reviews from Tea Review:
Reviews for Tasting Reports. Once formally launched, Tea Review will conduct blind tastings for our monthly reports on specific topics. The editorial calendar for such tasting reports will be available in the spring of 2021. There is no charge to tea companies for reviews published in association with our monthly tasting reports. However, keep in mind that we publish reviews for a relatively small number of the submissions received for each month’s tasting report. Of the many teas typically submitted each month, we publish fewer than ten reviews. Consequently, most teas submitted are not reviewed. We cannot supply feedback on teas submitted for tasting reports that do not appear in the final set of published reviews.
Standalone Reviews. Objective, blind reviews in Tea Review format are also available for a fee of US$350 per sample. Advertisers pay a reduced rate of $195 per sample. These reviews can be quoted for public use according to our guidelines for quoting reviews. After receiving a review, the submitting tea company may elect to keep the review private or request to have it published on TeaReview.com. However, it remains the sole discretion of Tea Review whether it will display a review. When a review is published, companies will receive a Tea Review scoring score medallion that can be used for marketing purposes.
